The Ocala Star-Banner is running an Associated Press story today on the universal covrage debate that is raging in states across the country. While some of the plans have been announced with much fanfare, for instance California, the story reports on a number of other states who believe they could implement universal coverage programs this year. Florida's newly elected Governor, Charlie Crist and newly appointed Surgeon General have not ruled out considering some sort of similar program here in the Sunshine State.
